DESCRIPTION:West Ada CTE Construction Career Exploration Tour\n\nWest Ada CTE students are invited to experience the homebuilding process firsthand during this interactive construction career exploration event. Students will visit an active subdivision where local builders will showcase three homes at different stages of construction\, providing a unique opportunity to see how a house progresses from framing to final finishes.\n\nThroughout the tour\, students will gain insight into the many careers involved in residential construction and learn how builders and skilled trades work together to bring a project to completion. In addition to touring the homes\, students will participate in hands-on trade activities led by industry professionals\, allowing them to explore real-world construction skills and techniques.\n\nThis immersive experience is designed to connect classroom learning with career opportunities\, helping students gain a better understanding of the building industry while interacting directly with builders and tradespeople in the field.\n\nIf you are interested in participating in this event\, serving as a breakfast or lunch sponsor\, or learning more about the Workforce Development Committee and its efforts to connect students with careers in the construction industry\, please contact Shannon Gregg at sgregg@bcaswi.org.
