General Membership

A builder member is a general whose primary business is single- and/or multifamily home construction. (1) Permit fee is the number of prior year residential permits obtained in Ada, Boise, Camas, Elmore & Valley counties. (Permit amount is capped at 200). *Please note that we cannot process a renewal without the additional permit fees where applicable.

A developer member is an individual whose primary business is land development.

A remodeler member is a general contractor whose primary business is residential remodeling.

Price: $650

An associate member is business that is either a specialty contractor or supplier of goods or services to the construction industry.

Professional Women in Building Council (PWB) Membership is available to BCASWI member-company employees for a cost of only $75 per year. The BCASWI's Professional Women in Building (PWB) Council, is a division of the NAHB Professional Women in Building. $50 of the membership fee is for NAHB & $25 to the BCASWI PWB Council.

The VCHBC is available to BCASWI member companies and their employees for a cost of $75/year. The VCHBC focus is on protecting the building industry and is dedicated to developing valuable business relationships with other BCA members, the building jurisdictions, and the community as a whole.”

Price: Only $30 **(Do not select this option if you have not confirmed your company's membership status)** - You must have an Approved Builder or Associate Membership to add on an Affiliate Membership.

To join as an Affiliation Builder Member or an Affiliate Associate Member your company must be a Builder or Associate member.  This is in addition to an existing membership. For example: your Real Estate Company has a current membership and you would like to add on to your company's membership as an affiliate so you will have full membership access. 

• Affiliate members receive their own NAHB Pin number enabling you to register on the NAHB website, create your own profile and access exclusive member benefits to help build a better business.
• Affiliate members can contribute to both the BCASWI Political Action Committee (BCASWI-PAC) and to NAHB's Political Action Committee (Build PAC).

As of 2024, new members who are 45 or younger qualify for a discounted rate of $75 for a one-year membership. After the first year a $300 discount on dues will be given for the next three years. New members cannot have been members of the BCASWI in the past two years to qualify.
