West Ada CTE Construction Career Exploration Tour West Ada CTE students are invited to experience the homebuilding process firsthand during this interactive construction career exploration event. Students will visit an active subdivision where local builders will showcase three homes at different stages of construction, providing a unique opportunity to see how a house progresses from framing to final finishes. Throughout the tour, students will gain insight into the many careers involved in residential construction and learn how builders and skilled trades work together to bring a project to completion. In addition to touring the homes, students will participate in hands-on trade activities led by industry professionals, allowing them to explore real-world construction skills and techniques. This immersive experience is designed to connect classroom learning with career opportunities, helping students gain a better understanding of the building industry while interacting directly with builders and tradespeople in the field.
